My professional association with Mo goes back to the mid 1990's since we served together on the IEEE Canada Board and as Power System practitioners.
I served as Region 7 Director succeeding Mo in that position. Throughout my interactions with Mo, I found him to have the best interests of IEEE in the forefront of his activities.

Having served as Director of Division VII (2006-2007), I am very aware of the importance of the position to PES because it is the link between the members of the society and the Board of Directors. From my knowledge of Mo's
experience and motivation, I am confident that he will contribute significantly to the welfare of IEEE and its members.
