I have had the pleasure of knowing Mo El-Hawary for several years through my association with the IEEE Power and Energy Society. Dr. El-Hawary is an excellent author, educator, and engineer and has made significant contributions to the society. If elected, I feel that he will do an outstanding job as 2009 Director-Elect for the IEEE Division VII. Mo is an individual who is truly interested in the quality and advancement of the IEEE organization and Power and Energy Society.
