My Vision
To address member needs using my experience responding to members’ lifelong growth needs by creating opportunities to meet the challenges facing the electric power and energy community.
To enable and allow closer ties between our Society and other IEEE departments and entities to maximize the benefits to IEEE PES members.
To take measures to familiarize the IEEE Community and the public of the industrial relevance of the work of PES Committees in serving our global interests.
Statement
I place my experience and insights at your service to further our growth, and respond to challenges created by a changing industry.
• To familiarize IEEE leaders, and community of the relevance of the work of PES volunteers responding to industry’s needs.
• To strengthen the ties between PES and other IEEE entities to maximize benefits to members.
• Enhance IEEE relevance to industrial partners, by responding to members’ lifelong growth needs by creating opportunities to meet the challenges facing the PES community.
• Create educational and professional activities assisting younger and transitioning members to meet needs and challenges of an evolving industry.
• Offer skill sharpening services to enhance students’ competitiveness..
• Actively promote and assist Fellow grade recognition for PES industry members.
• Promote an annual congress of Power and Energy that acts as an umbrella for conferences hosted by IEEE societies engaged in our business.
• As Regional Director I reached out to our Sections. With PES leaders will reach out to Chapters to further our understanding of your needs.
